It is known as Trichoptlosis, and happens when the hair’s protective cuticle has been stripped away from the ends of hair fibers. It is called Split ends…They are more likely to develop in natural extremely dry or brittle hair, as a result of the continued hair exposure to chemical products such as relaxers, hair color, and also due excessive dying, vigorous brushing and use of styling products. It is most seen in those people with long hairs than those with shorter hairs.
Home redies for splits ends:
- hair trimming
- Use shampoo with ingredients that include sunscreen and moisturizing cream in your hair if it is extremely dry
- Do shampoo your hair after work out to remove the salt from perspiration that will erode your hair
- Use regular conditioner in your hair after shampooing, and a deep conditioner once a month.
